We are proud to share the successful completion of another heartwarming project — this time in the picturesque town of Višegrad, located in eastern Bosnia and Herzegovina. Our team delivered humanitarian aid to Osnovna škola “Vuk Karadžić”, a primary school that serves around 600 students. What we saw there was truly inspiring. The SOS Village isn’t a typical “orphanage.” Instead of big, impersonal halls, kids live in real homes with foster parents who care for them 24/7. It feels like family—complete with brothers, sisters, and loving guidance.

This generous contribution marks one of our larger donations. We deeply admire the commendable work of this institute, which is why we chose to provide essential items such as shoes, socks, underwear, shampoos, and lice shampoos as our donation. It brings us great joy to support this wonderful organization, and we eagerly look forward to collaborating with them again in the future.

Balkan Children’s first-ever donation went to the Home for Children and Youth Jefimija in Kruševac, and we couldn’t be more excited to announce our second donation to them and 7th overall. Our goal is to offer continued support to all centers and institutions that provide food, safety, and shelter to Balkan’s vulnerable groups, so we are thrilled to have been able to partner with Jefimija again.

We are happy to support the Shelter for Children and Youth Olivera Verica Đorđević for the second time since we started the Charity for Balkan Children. It’s been our goal to build long-term partnerships with institutions for children and youth across the Balkans, meeting the devoted staff and the children who rely on them.
