Crnogorci su održali protest ispred Kancelarije Ujedinjenih nacija u Ženevi kako bi ih međunarodna zajednica čula.
Ceo govor:
“Free minds build free markets. And wherever religious liberty is allowed to take root, it is prosperity and peace that ultimately flourish as well“
This was said not so long ago by a certain Vice-President of the United States. The exact opposite of what is being preached and called for by the democratic values in the West is currently taking place in Montenegro, and this is why we have all gathered here today, regardless of where we come from.
As a citizen of Montenegro who emigrated to the United States, I have experienced firsthand what it means to have religious liberty, and I must say that I am extremely disappointed and appalled at the current situation in Montenegro.
I stand here, today, in front of the United Nations, with my wife, my newborn daughter, my friends, and my fellow citizens of Montenegro — as I ask the international community — Protect religious freedom and respect human rights of Montenegro and all of its citizens! I ask you to withdraw your support of this repressive apparatus that has discriminated against Montenegro's citizens by taking away their fundamental right to spirituality and religion.
Join us in support of his Eminence Metropolitan Amfilohije and the people of Montenegro, as we stare down the corrupt administration and their newley passed law which seizes church property and shows them that we will not abandon our faith! Lastly, I want to thank everyone today for organizing the event and to all who came in support of our brothers and sisters in Montenegro, especially my fellow Beranci! To the people in the streets peacefully protesting in every city, every day, you give us hope, you have restored our brotherhood, and for that I personally thank you!
— WE ARE ONE PEOPLE. DO NOT LET ANYONE TELL YOU OTHERWISE! T
here is nothing we can't accomplish together, united. God Bless You All!
